Midnight Operation: 4 MP youths stranded in Uttarakhand rescued by SDRF

Rudraprayag (Uttarakhand): In a swift and prompt rescue operation, the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) successfully rescued four youths stranded between Garuchatti and Rambada of Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand on Wednesday night, police said.

Adverse Conditions


The four youths, who hail from Madhya Pradesh, had lost their way near a riverbed between Garuchatti and Rambada.

On receiving information, a team of the SDRF Uttarakhand Police rushed to the spot and rescued all of them amid extremely adverse conditions through alternate routes and reached Lincholi, the police said.

Previous Successful Rescue in the Region

Earlier, the SDRF team had successfully rescued a biker from a 200-meter-deep gorge near Narkota in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district on Monday midnight.

Uttarakhand SDRF officials immediately launched an operation upon receiving information about the person on a bike falling into a gorge, demonstrating their prompt response and efficiency.

The recent rescue of the stranded youths further highlights the SDRF's dedication to its mission of ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals in distress.
