As Mamata Banerjee is all set to organize the mega Opposition rally in Bengal, BJP’s Babul Supriyo has called it a stunt and “a rally of corrupt leaders and show of hypocrisy.”

The rally which has attracted almost 25 Opposition leaders and as per Trinamool Congress’ claims, more than 40 lakh people are expected to join in the rally. Although, Babul Supriyo has said that it is a ‘political stunt of the corrupt leaders.’

Babul Supriyo, who is a member of Parliament from Asansol seat, tweeted saying, “Instead of chanting #BrigadeChalo they all should chant 'Let's make India better'. Then, some fruitful decisions can be made for the country... By putting traffic on stand still & harassing the general public, TMC wants to stand up for the state's well fare? How ironical! I urge all to share their today's traffic woes. #NaMoAgain.”

Targeting the Trinamool Congress and it’s leader Mamata Banerjee, Supriyo tweeted that “TMC has a large fund base for the rally but not for the state? Kolkata will witness a show of hypocrisy today.”

The mega rally organized by the TMC is being as a hub of the Opposition parties ahead of the Lok Sabha polls of 2019, where to stop the Modi-Shah juggernaut, regional alliances are taking place and once a foe are becoming friends, with a common goal to defeat BJP in 2019.

Some leaders who are attending the rally include former prime minister HD Deve Gowda, his son and Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Sharad Pawar, Farooq Abdullah, Sharad Yadav, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav among others.
