Man keeps Bhopal model hostage claiming love, threatens to kill her if she does not confesses her love for him; releases video
In a shocking one-side love case, a man claiming himself an actor broke into a model's Bhopal residence and keeps her hostage in a top floor flat of five storey building on Monday. The man sais he would only free her if she confesses her love for him or he will kill her and family.
The woman who is model and junior managing director in Mumbai film city returned to Bhopal two months back from Mumbai. The reportedly knew the accused from Mumbai itself. The accused—Rohit who used to call her frequently and when she began to ignore the calls he reached her house on Friday morning, entered, and locked it from inside.
The model has worked with several popular Bollywood celebs from Ranveer Singh to Govinda to Sushmita Sen.
However, according to media reports, the model's parents are also inside the flat and that they have been locked in one of the rooms. The man threatened to kill her and her parents unless she admits to loving him and has claimed that he has already cut himself in several places.
Speaking to the media from behind the locked door, he said that he has been harassed by Bhopal police before and this compelled him to take the drastic step. "When I reached Bhopal, a police complaint was filed against me. They harassed me, tortured me which is why I took this step," said Rohit. "If the crowd outside the door was not there, I would have come out a lot earlier."
The cops arrived at the spot after neighbours complained about him and have begun negotiating with Rohit. Friends of the accused to have been called in to convince him to open the door of the flat.
The accused Rohit have released a WhatsApp video showcasing the model lying on the bed unconscious and blood spread over flat. The model has worked with several popular Bollywood celebs from Ranveer Singh to Govinda.
