Man jumps in front of bus in Mumbai, dies

A 59-year-old man died in Mumbai, allegedly after throwing himself in front of a moving bus in Andheri West. The entire incident was recorded in a video that showed the rear wheels of the bus running over the man’s legs.
The incident took place on December 6 under the jurisdiction of DN Nagar Police Station in Andheri West.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Gaffar Ismail Sayyed. Police have registered a case in the matter, and the body was handed over to the family.
The police investigation is underway, and the reason for the extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
