In a tragic incident, the bodies of seven members of a family were fished out from the Bhima river in Daund, Pune. Four bodies were recovered between January 18 and 21, and the remaining three were found today, January 24.
According to the Pune Rural Police, the incident appears to be a suicide, but they are investigating the matter from all angles. An Accidental Death Report has been registered in this regard.

The deceased included an elderly couple, their daughter and son-in-law and their children, reported TOI.
Bodies have been sent for postmortem and the reports are awaited to ascertain the cause of death.
The incident has sent shockwaves through the community and has left many in mourning.
