Maharashtra Shocker: 75-year-old throws acid on 65-year-old wife on suspicion of affair
A 75-year-old man attacked his 65-year-old wife and threw acid on her face in Mumbai’s Wadala area on April 9, police said, adding that the accused has been arrested.
According to the Mumbai Police, the elderly man suspected his 65-year-old wife of having an affair.

A case under section 326B (Voluntarily Throwing or Attempting to Throw Acid) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the elderly man. The minimum punishment under the section is 5 years which can be extended to 7 years with a fine.
