The condition in Maharashtra getting worsened after the Maratha Kranti Morchahas called for a bandh in Mumbai and its adjoining area today. The violence in the state raised after the protest turned violent. Now, the bus services suspended in the state after the stone pelting at the best buses. During the violence several people injured and one constable died.
According to the reports, protesters have burned many vehicles and two protesters also tried to commit suicide.
The highest impact of Maharashtra bandh can be seen especially in Aurangabad and some adjoining areas. Earlier on 24th July, a protester died during the march in the favour of reservation.
The demand for reservation by the Maratha community is a very controversial issue in terms of politics. There are at least 30 per cent Marathas in the state. Prior to this, Maratha community leader has also organized rallies for their demands in the various districts of the state. Last year, the Maratha Kranti Morcha has organized a big rally in Mumbai.
