Madhya Pradesh: PM Modi to visit Kuno National Park on his birthday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Kuno National Park in Sheopur district on his birthday on September 17, informed Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today.

September 17 is the same day when Cheetahs will be arriving at the sanctuary from South Africa.

“PM Narendra Modi will be visiting Kuno National Park on his birthday on September 17.  On the very same day, cheetahs from South Africa will be brought to the park,” said CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan as quoted by ANI.

The MP Government has constructed at least seven helipads in and around the National Park, where the cheetah reintroduction project is going on. Last month CM Chouhan reviewed the status of the project and instructed officers to speed up work.

A team from South Africa is also expected to arrive to assist the Kuno Palpur Wildlife Sanctuary team.
