Madhya Pradesh: Man held for eve-teasing girl in Tikamgarh

The Tikamgarh Police arrested a man for allegedly stalking and eve-teasing a girl in the Nandishwar colony. The incident happened on November 27 when a man riding a bike began following a girl who was walking on the road and made obscene gestures. Whole incident was by the CCTV camera installed in the colony.

Furious over the incident, residents of the locality reached the police station and handed over the CCTV footage. According to residents, the man had committed at least four eve-teasing and snatching incidents in the colony on the same day.

On the basis of the CCTV footage, the police have registered a case and started an investigation into the matter.

Sub Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) B D Tripathi assured that police will take stringent action against the accused man.
