Madhya Pradesh Elections 2018: EC officials, 2 others died while on polling duty after suffering cardiac arrest in MP

A death reports of an Election Commission official from Madhya Pradesh's Guna and a teacher deployed at Deepika Bal Mandir in Nehru Nagar in Indore have been reported on Wednesday morning. Sohan Lal Batham, an Election Commission official, died due to cardiac arrest in Guna.

An Election Commission official, Sohan Lal Batham died due to cardiac arrest on duty at a polling booth in Guna. Following this, another report of government employee dead report came from\ Mhow. He passed away after he took the pill while on duty.


 

Kailash Patel, a teacher at Utkrisht Vidyalay, Mhow who was deployed at Deepika Bal Mandir in Nehru Nagar in the Indore-5 constituency. He suffered an attack at 6:50 am. Patel was rushed to Shalby hospital where he was declared dead. Meanwhile, the collector announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the deceased.
