Ahead of Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, in a big blow to Bhartiya Janta Party Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's brother-in-law Sanjay Singh, joins Congress. Sanjay Singh joined the Congress party on Saturday. He is the brother of Chouhan’s wife Sadhna Singh.
Sanjay Singh joined the Congress in the presence of former Union minister and PCC chief Kamal Nath and campaign committee chief Jyotiraditya Scindia. He accusing the BJP of promoting dynasty politics while joining the Grand Old Party.

The 230 constituencies seats the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ruled Madhya Pradesh is all set to go for the polling on 28 November to elect members for the state.
The tenure of Madhya Pradesh assembly ends on 7 January 2019. The last date of filing nominations is 9 November. The counting of votes will take place on 11 December. On 6 October, election dates were announced.
