Love is Blind: Shocking! Two college girls stole at least 38 phones in Mumbai local for the same boyfriend they love

As it is said, love is blind on the incident has proved it right and it could turn into a criminal instance as well. According to the Times of India reports two college girls has allegedly stoled at least 38 mobile phones from the Mumbai local's women's compartments on the Western Railway from last 2 months.

The duo uses to steal the phones to fetch fast money after selling it to spent them on the man, Hrishi Singh, whom they were allegedly dating. The girls identified as Twinkle Soni, 20, and Tinal Parmar, 19, and the third man, Rahul Rajpurohit, the one who has purchased the stolen phones from them for Rs 3 lakh have been arrested.


“Preliminary investigations have led us to believe that the two college girls are in love with the wanted accused Singh. They claimed to have stolen the phones for fast money and spent it on Singh,” said Purushottam Karad, DCP (Western Railway) who had formed a team to investigate the incidents after numerous cases were registered at Borivli station.

The cop caught the girl Soni red-handed when she was to steal one more phone from a commuter's bag. “Around 1 pm, cops caught Soni red-handed while she was trying to pinch a phone from a commuter’s bag. Her arrest helped us nab Parmar and the person who bought the phones from their boyfriend. They are wanted in at least seven cases," he added. Both the girls would allegedly meet Singh in the evening and help him sell the pieces, reports TOI.
 
“The girls used to steal the phones on trains while on their way to their respective colleges. At least nine phones were recovered from Soni’s bag. A total of 38 phones and 30 memory cards have been recovered from the arrested accused,” investigators told the paper.
