Just a two days before General elections 2019 votings in Delhi, the ruling government BJP official social media handle tweeted a video of 1984 anti-Sikh riot. The video posted on BJP's twitter account handle includes former PM Rajiv Gandhi's speech on the riots, saying, "When a tree falls, the earth shakes."

Former Prime minister Rajiv Gandhi, son of Indra Gandhi and father of Rahul Gandhi was assassinated in 1991 by a Tamil Tigers suicide bomber. Rajiv Gandhi remarks on the carnage in which nearly 3 thousand were killed following the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi's mother and former PM Indra Gandhi by her Sikh bodyguard. This Anti-Sikh riot has always been a display of Congress's arrogance and callousness.

Several Congress leaders were accused of leading the mob that killed thousands of Sikhs in Delhi. Sajjan Kumar, Jagdish Tytler, Kamal Nath and HKL Bhagat are those leaders who always have been accused of the riot and BJP has shown them on this video as well. BJP shared the video and gave a caption, "This video will shake you to the core, now you have to decide."

Let us tell you that this is the third time when BJP has dragged Rajiv Gandhi in the election campaign. Recently, PM Modi said at a rally and Rajiv Gandhi died as "Bhrashtachari (corrupt) Number 1". However, that remark was condemned by not just Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi but also by Mamata Banerjee and Arvind Kejriwal.
