The DMK chief, who said that he was on a campaign trail across the State on 30 parliamentary constituencies, said that he observed the mood of the public and claimed that public are fed up of both Centre and Tamil Nadu.
MK Stalin, in a statement said, “I have campaigned in nearly 30 parliamentary constituencies till now. I have sensed public mood, they are fed up of Modi in Centre and Edappadi K. Palaniswami government in state and people want to put a full stop to these governments.”

As the BJP has tied up with AIADMK and PMK for the upcoming polls, all three parties are contesting upon 28, 5 and 7 respectively. The UPA has allied with 8 partners in the Tamil Nadu polls, wherein the DMK is contesting on 20 seats and the Congress on 10. The VCK, CPI and CPI(M) will be contesting on 2 seats each, whereas MDMK, IJK, KDMK and IUML are contesting on one each.
Post the demise of J Jayalaithaa and M Karunanidhi, the political vacuum of Tamil Nadu has attracted many new faces including actor-turned politician Kamal Nath, Rajnikanth among others. Tamil Nadu will also see a by-poll on 18 seats of the Assembly along with the Lok Sabha polls, which will be decider for the AIADMK.
