As the 2019 Lok Sabha election is around the corner, the BJP has been able to bring its disgruntled allies on board and the Apna Dal has joined the National Democratic Front to contest the polls on two seats.
Apna Dal chief Anupriya Patel has given in to the demands earlier raised by her party and have joined the hands with the BJP, even Congress’ Priyanka Gandhi was in touch with the leader to inculcate a pact for the 2019 polls.

Apna Dal has decided to contest on two seats, the same number on which they successfully contested in 2014. Anupriya Patel has decided to contest from Mirzapur, and the second seat will be decided later on. The final pact was decided after Anupriya Patel and husband Ashish met BJP chief Amit Shah in New Delhi.
