As BJP today announced the seat sharing deal with its allies for Bihar, RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav held a press conference to show the unity and strength of its allies for 2019 polls.

The Bihar’s seat sharing formula has been a fair game for the NDA after the exit of RLSP’s Upendra Kushwaha and now Nitish Kumar’s JDU and BJP will contest upon 17 seats each and the LJP has got 6 seats. Although, Ram Vilas Paswan will not contest the Lok Sabha election and will be the NDA’s candidate for the Rajya Sabha in 2019.

Today, right after the seat sharing deal of the NDA was announced, Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tejashwi tweeted saying, “The LJP and JDU got the benefits of asking PM Modi questions about the demonetisation after 2 years. In spite of having 22 parliamentarians in Bihar, the BJP is only contesting 17 seats and Nitish-ji, who has 2 MPs, will also fight 17 seats. Now you can understand in what condition the NDA is in.”

After geeting sidelined by the BJP brass, Upendra Kushwaha, who recently joined the UPA with his RLSP targeted the BJP government and said, “BJP k log zyada kehte the ki 56-inch ka seena hai, toh 56- inch ke seena wale natmastak hogye Nitish Kumar ji ke saamne, aur aadha-aadha batwara kar diya, kisko kitni seeton pe ladna hai isse janta ko koi matlab nahi hai.”

Tejashwi Yadav welcomed a new leader in his grand alliance for Bihar and told the media in the conference that “I would like to welcome Mukesh Sahni ji, son of Mallah, to our grand alliance, and I believe that him joining the grand alliance will strengthen it.”
