Union Minister Smriti Irani shared a Thoughtful Thursday post on her Instagram account and joked about her weight gain in past several years.

Union Minister of Women and Child Development and Textiles, Smriti Irani is well-known for her social media pastime. Irani keeps on treating her 5 lakh Instagram followers with throwback pictures, funny memes and witty captions.


On Thursday morning, BJP Amethi MP took to the photo-sharing app to post then-and-now throwback pictures, featuring in this post is BJP MP Darshana Jardosh alongside with herself.

"Kya se kya ho gaye dekhte dekhte (how we have changed)," quipped Ms Irani while sharing the then-and-now pics. "When #thoughtfulthursday 'weighs' on you," she added, ending her caption with smileys.

Soon after post was shared online, it has collected over 48,000 'likes' and a ton of comments. Several followers showered praise on her humour.

"You are amazing!! Your ability to laugh at yourself is truly special and makes me admire you even more," wrote one person in the comments section. "Hahahaha too good!" said another.
 
Smriti Irani is most talked about parliamentrian in PM Modi Cabinet 2.0, who defeated Congress president Rahul Gandhi from his home turf Amethi constituencey in UP.
