In a major goof up, retired Indian Police Service officer, Kiran Bedi on 20th October took to micro blogging site and posted a video claiming Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Hiraben Modi dancing in her house on Diwali night.
And now the video of woman dancing in video has taken the internet by storm and people are back lashing Puducherry governor for her tweet.
Bedi tweeted the video with caption, “Spirit of Deepavali at tender age of 97. She’s mother of @narendramodi (Hiraben Modi -1920) celebrating Diwali at her own home.”
Not only this, but she also tagged founder of Isha Foundation, Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev in the tweet.
In the viral video, the woman could be seen dancing on Gujarati song in her full swing.
But this Tweet has taken a wrong turn on Twitter and now people, who think that the woman is not PM Modi's mother, are reacting in a harsh way.
Now reports suggests that this video was not even shot on Diwali.
The video shared on the official page of Bedi by herself is of two weeks ago.
So, it seems like that Bedi has landed herself in trouble.
And, it is still not clear that the woman who is dancing in the video is PM's mother or not.
Here are some of the reactions:
Such CHEAP tricks @thekiranbedi? Feel sorry for your chair Governor, why do you lie for PM's PR? The woman doesn't even look like Hiraben! pic.twitter.com/dNeKPNEJhU
