Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyendra Jain on Tuesday lashed out at suspended party MLA Kapil Mishra saying no deal took place between him and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, adding Mishra was lying after losing his mental balance.
"Mishra is telling a lie as he was hit by his sudden removal. On May 5 I did not even go to Kejriwal's house. Mishra is lying as he has lost his mental balance. I have not done this kind of work ever," Jain said.
He added that he did not give any money to Kejriwal.
Jain has also decided to file a defamation suit against Mishra for accusing him and Kejriwal of misappropriating funds.
Earlier in the day, Mishra said he would file three First Information Reports (FIR) against Kejriwal and AAP.
The first FIR would be on an alleged cash deal between Jain and Kejriwal, the second on how Jain had helped close relatives of the chief minister, and the third on how AAP leaders were going on junkets abroad using illegally gotten wealth, Mishra tweeted.
He also sought Kejriwal's blessing before filing the FIRs, which he described as the "biggest step of his life".
He also challenged the Chief Minister to contest against him in the election.
