As per the reports, the flights were cancelled from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) due to some operational issues. While the airline source claimed that the flights were cancelled due to the pilots' scarcity.

“Jet Airways had to cancel a few domestic flights of date (November 18) due to operational reasons. Guests of the affected flights were duly informed about their flight status via SMS alerts. In accordance with regulatory policy, guests have been re-accommodated and or compensated,” the airline said in a statement.

The airlines also added that it feels regrets due to the inconvenience caused to its passengers.

According to the HT reports, the carrier has not been paying the salaries to the pilots, engineers and senior management regularly for the last some time.

Due to which the carrier has lost several good pilots. Also, many times pilots were forced to work overtime to fill up the shortage of the other pilots.
