Two militants shot dead in an encounter broke out between militants and security forces on Friday in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Indian security forces have launched a search operation in the Babagund area of Kupwara as per the information received about the presence of terrorists in the area.
The encounter has been ended in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara and search operations underway, ANI reported.

As per the reports of India Today, the bodies of the two terrorists have been recovered from the spot on Friday morning.
The encounter was broke out on Thursday night. Indian security forces (Army’s 22 RR, 92 battalions, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and SOG) conducted the search operations at Khanu-Babagund hamlet in Langate.
To prevent terrorists from escaping in the night, Indian Arm has installed lights to capture them, India Today reported.
Meanwhile, the encounter has been ended and search operation is still continuing in the area.
