One terrorist has been killed in an encounter with the Indian Army in Sopore on Saturday morning. While one security personnel was also injured during the exchange of fire.

On Saturday, the encounter was broke out between militants and Indian security forces in Malmapanpora area of Warpora of North Kashmir’s Sopore.
A joint team of Army’s 22RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Malmaponpora.
As per the reports of news agency, a senior police officer said that a brief exchange of fire took place between terrorists and security forces and after which the suspected spot was encircled.
Meanwhile, the search operation is underway.
