In an encounter broke out in Pulwama district, four soldiers, including a Major-rank officer, have been killed today. The encounter took place in Pinglina area of Pulwama between Indian security forces and terrorists. One civilian was also injured in the encounter.

On Monday morning (18th February), the encounter broke out in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district after Pakistan-based outfits’ Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) militants fired upon Indian army personnel.
As per the reports of ANI news agency, two terrorists have been cornered by the Indian security forces.
The jawans who were killed in the encounter belonged to 55 Rashtriya Rifles.

There are the expectations that terrorists are believed to have links with the suicide bomber Adil Ahmad Dar, the man involved in the suicide bomb attack in Pulwama, in which over 40 CRPF jawans were killed on 14th February.
