The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully performed trials of the hypersonic vehicle on December 9. The ISRO conducted the experiment in cooperation with the Headquarters, Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) (HQ IDS).
The country's premier space research agency announced in a tweet that the hypersonic vehicle trials met all predetermined targets and demonstrated the hypersonic vehicle's capabilities.
A post on ISRO's official Twitter handle read, "@ISRO and JSIIC @HQ_IDS have jointly conducted Hypersonic vehicle trials. The trials achieved all required parameters and demonstrated Hypersonic vehicle capability."
