Indian Navy Chetak helicopter crashed today while on a training sortie in Rajali, Tamil Nadu.
The chopper crash-landed while carrying out a dry winching dual sortie.
No loss of life has been reported. However, the main and tail rotors of the aircraft have been damaged.

As per the reports, the main and tail rotors of the aircraft have been damaged.
However, this incident occured just weeks after an Indian Air Force MiG 27 fighter jet crashed in a field near Rajasthan's Jodhpur on 4th September. However, pilot was safely ejected from the plane.
Also in June, Air Commodore Sanjai Chauhan was died after his plane got crashed in the Kutch region in northwestern Gujarat. The Air Commondore died during the take off plane from the Jamnagar Air Force base for a routine training mission.
Three days later, another IAF plane crashed near an air base in Ahmedabad.
