After the most awaited alliance of the election season, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has claimed that BJP workers are now feeling the heat of being in the party and are contacting him to join the SP-BSP alliance.

Taking a jibe at the BJP and their National Convention, Akhilesh Yadav tweeted saying, “Not just the top BJP leadership, but also the grassroots-level workers have given up hope after the BSP-SP alliance. The booth workers of the BJP are now saying 'humara booth, hua chaknachoor (our booth is destoryed)'. These disappointed BJP leaders and workers now desperately want to join BSP-SP for their survival.”

On Saturday, the SP-BSP had aligned for the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha election wherein both the parties would be contesting on 38 seats each, while leaving the 4 for their allies, namely Rashtriya Lok Dal led by Ajit.

Akhilesh Yadav said, “The alliance would rob Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah of their sleep.”

While PM Modi targeted Mayawati for joining hands with the SP, he tried too attack the weak point of the guest house scandal which happened with former in 1993-94. But, Mayawati issued clarification yesterday and said, “For the sake of the nation, we decided to rise above the Lucknow guest house incident and again come together.”

Mayawati, while addressing the press yesterday, had said, “We have defeated the BJP in bypolls by coming together in the last year. The Congress even lost its deposit. This made us realise that of the SP and BSP come together, we can win against the BJP.”
