Two women of the same family were killed after their autorickshaw was hit by a speeding car in Bengaluru early on January 7. The deceased were identified as Fazila (38) and Taseena (24).
Police sources told news agency ANI that there were five people, including two children, in the autorickshaw at the time of the mishap. Khalid was driving the autorickshaw, and his wife Taseena, his sister Fazila, and two children were sitting in the passenger seat. The family was traveling from Channasandra to KR Puram when a speeding car hit their autorickshaw. The collision was so intense that both women died on the spot.
Khalid and his two minor children sustained injuries, and they were admitted to a nearby hospital, as per the police.
The driver of the car is on the run, and police are trying to get hold of him.
A case has been registered at the KR Puram Traffic Police Station and further investigation is underway.

Police have nabbed all the seven accused and further investigation is underway.
