Gujarat triple murder: Sacked from job, man and aide kill Surat firm owner and kin

In a shocking incident reported from Gujarat’s Surat, a man and his associate stabbed to death the owner of an embroidery firm, his father and uncle on Sunday as he was angry with his former employer for removing him from his job. The murder was caught on CCTV camera.

The murder happened at the victim's firm, Vedant Texo, located in Anjani industrial area of the Amroli area of Surat. The police have taken the two suspects into their custody and a Special Investigation Team has been set up to investigate the matter.


The deceased have been identified as Kalpesh Dholakia, aged 36, Dhanji Dholakiya, aged 61 and Ghanshyam Rajodiya, aged 48.

The man, accused of stabbing Kalpesh Dholakia, the owner of the firm, was terminated from the job as he was caught sleeping during night shift. A heated exchange between the two men eventually resulted in the triple murder.

The CCTV video displayed the accused walking into the factory armed with sharp weapons and stabbing the owner and others multiple times.

Evidence is being collected with the help of a forensic team, and the Surat Police is aiming to file a charge sheet within a week.
