After 24 hours of the rescue operation, one more dead body has recovered under the debris of the building in Greater Noida. At least nine people, including an infant, have lost their lives after the two adjacent buildings collapsed on the outskirt of the national capital.

Earlier, on 17th July, a six storey building which was under construction which got crashed on a four-storey building next to it. The incident took place in Shahberi village under Bisrakh Police station on 17th July night. Reportedly, 12 labourers were trapped inside the under-construction building and all of them feared trapped, said Chief Fire Officer (CFO), Arun Kumar.
Last night, two bodies have been pulled out and one today’s morning by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), the fire department and police mounted a rescue operation.
On Wednesday, two dead bodies of infant and an unidentified woman were also recovered at around 9 pm after the 20 hours of building collapsed.
The rescue operation has been done with help of heavy machines which help in uplifting the debris and also with the help of dog squad bodies are detecting.
Meanwhile, the crowd has been hung around the spot as some of them believed that their relatives might be trapped under the debris, including media and some local politicians. However, the NDRF team have asked them to stay away from the site.
Reportedly, those people who involved in doing the rescue operations were facing trouble due to the narrow lanes and also, due to the huge crowd assembled at the spot.
According to the reports of India TV, three victims have been identified as Ranjit, Shamshad and Priyanka.
Earlier on Wednesday, Police have arrested three people who are allegedly involved in the matter.
