In a startling claim by a former Cyber expert operating in USA, the 2014 election which brought BJP in power is under clouds as Syed Shuja has said that ‘EVM’s were hacked.’
The claims made by Indian-born US based Syed Shuja has been serious and allegations are being made that the 2014 election ‘was rigged’ and the ‘Electronic Voting Machines were hacked’ upon to divest the results in a particular manner.
Shuja, who was doing a press conference via Skype from USA, was wearing a mask to hide his identity as he felt threatened that he might get killed after revealing the top secrets of the government.
Shuja has taken political asylum in USAand startled various political parties across the spectrum claiming that SP, BSP, BJP, AAP, Congress have been involved in the hacking of the EVM’s, although no immediate reaction have come from any party as of now. Although, Shuja said that Aam Aadmi Party had approached him asking the process of hacking.
He said that the servers and networks of Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Jio were being used to rig the machines, although the claims would fall flat because the operation of Reliance Jio started in 2016 but interestingly, the company came into existence in 2010 and the election happened in 2014.
He claimed that the BJP lost in the recently held elections of Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh as his team had intercepted the work being carried out by the BJP and therefore the party lost the elections.
In a statement, the Election Commission of India has clarified that “it is "wary of becoming a party to this motivated slugfest", it firmly stands by the "empirical facts about foolproof nature of ECI EVMs.”
