A magnitude of 6.1 earthquakes was felt in Delhi-NCR (National Capital Region), including North India today around 12:40 pm. People rushed out of their houses.
The tremors triggered panic in the national capital forcing people to evacuate residential buildings and office complexes.
The epicentre of the earthquake was Hindu Kush in Afghanistan.
However, no loss of life or damage to property has been reported so far.
