The adopted daughter of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, Honeypreet Insan has been granted bail in a case related to violence in Haryana’s Panchkula in 2017.
Earlier, a local court in Panchkula dropped sedition charges against Honeypreet and 35 others.
Honeypreet, Aditya Insan and Pawan Insan were booked on charges of sedition, inciting violence and being involved in a conspirancy to help Ram Rahim flee after his conviction by a CBI court on 25th August 2017.

Ram Rahim has been sentenced to 20 years in prison with a fine of over Rs 30 lakh.
His conviction led to violence in Panchkula and Sirsa in Haryana that left 38 people dead and several injured.
