Heavy rain along with thunderstorms and strong winds hit national capital and NCR causing a sharp dip the temperature on Tuesday morning. The Delhi woke up to heavy traffic due to waterlogging caused by rain.
At least two workers died in Delhi and another injured after the wall of a warehouse collapsed due to rain in Delhi's Najafgarh on Monday. Deceased identified as Jasvir, 20, and Karim, 25 are resident of Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh.
Traffic slowed down across the city and visibility was low because of the darkened skies. "Generally cloudy conditions with light to moderate rainfall at most places and isolated thunderstorm activity accompanied with strong surface winds most likely during January 21 and 22," the weather department said.

At least 15 trains heading to the city were delayed due to fog and low visibility said news agency ANI.
"The sky will remain generally cloudy throughout the day with chances of light rain or thundershowers. There are also possibilities of an isolated hail storm," a met official said, adding that gusty winds could add to the chill.
