Delhi: Shocking! A 50-year-old woman killed by a 20-year-old girl after she ran SUV car over her in Connaught Place

A shocking incident took place at Delhi’s most rush area Connaught Place where a 50-year-old woman was killed by a 20-year-old girl. Yes, a 20-year-old fashion student run a car over the old woman by an SUV car on Sunday night.

According to the reports, the woman was dragged by a car at least 300 metres before the student could manage to stop the car.

However, the driver of the SUV (a black Jeep Compass) has been arrested by Police when she could able to stop the car at a police picket nearly 300 metres away from the accident spot.

The victim was still underneath the vehicle when it was stopped, the police said.
According to the Police, when the girl identified as Shreya Agarwal, arrested then she was not drunk.

However, the deceased lady has been identified only by her first name i.e. Phoolwati. As per the reports of HT, she lived in a night shelter near Bangla Sahib Gurdwara with her husband.

Meanwhile, the accident took place at around 9 pm when the SUV hit the lady, which had three occupants, took a left from Baba Kharak Singh Marg to the lane leading to Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg, the police said.

However, the victim’s body was sent for a post-mortem and her husband, Sushil Kumar was also informed about her death.
