In a shocking incident, Delhi Police apprehended two juveniles accused of murdering their 12-year-old classmate. The victim was found dead in a drain near a government school in Badarpur, Delhi.


Discovery of the Body in a Drain

A PCR call was received by Delhi Police on Friday evening, reporting the discovery of a school child's body floating in a drain. The victim was identified as a class 8 student of an MCD School. A team from the Badarpur Police Station was dispatched to investigate the incident.

Investigation Reveals Smoking Dispute

After a medical examination, it was found that the child was bludgeoned to death with a blunt object. Further investigation revealed that the victim had caught the two juveniles smoking cigarettes on the school premises. He threatened to report them to the school authorities.

Accused Lure Victim to Isolated Spot
The two accused juveniles, in an attempt to silence the victim, lured him to an isolated spot near the school premises.

Fatal Assault on Victim
Once they had the victim in a secluded spot, the accused assaulted him, causing several head injuries that proved fatal. The victim was later found dumped in the nearby drain.

Juveniles Apprehended
The police apprehended the two juveniles and presented them before the Juvenile Justice Board for their involvement in the murder.

This incident has raised questions about the safety and security of children at schools, and highlights the need for stricter vigilance and measures to prevent such tragic incidents from occurring in the future.
