Finally, the rain comes in the country’s capital Delhi and its National Capital Region (NCR) on Thursday morning. After the continuous heavy rainfall, Delhiites facing trouble to reach their location. However, people feel some relaxation from the humidity despite the waterlogging problem created barriers for them. The various parts of the city waterlogged and due to which the roads are covered with the traffic.
People have been stuck in the traffic for a long time and unable to reach their destination on time. As per the reports, till 8:30 the city recorded 4.6 millimetres of rainfall in the last 24 hours and the relative humidity was 93 per cent.
Meanwhile, the weather officials predicted that the rain will continue throughout the day. The raining was started around 7 am on today’s morning.
‘The sky will remain generally cloudy throughout the day. There may be spells of light to moderate rain in most parts of the city,’ an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
Earlier on Wednesday, the city has received the heavy showers. According to the weather forecast, the temperatures after the rain are expected to hover at 32 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
