Delhi Election Result 2020: Traffic alert! These routes should be avoided on counting day

Amid Delhi Election Result 2020, Traffic Police has released some traffic advisory for Delhiites. As the counting underway, Delhi Traffic Police has imposed some restrictions on some routes in the national capital. As per the latest trends, the Aam Aadmi Party of Arvind Kejriwal is leading while Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is lagging behind. On the other hand, Congress failed to impress Delhi citizens and unable to score a single seat.

People who are travelling in Delhi then they should check the routes that have been diverted or closed by Delhi traffic police due to Delhi Election Results 2020.


Check out routes that will remain closed today:

1. From Bhajanpura to Gagan Cinema

The traffic remains closed from Bhajanpura towards Gagan Cinema (both carriageways) due to the counting of votes for Delhi elections. Motorists are advised to take an alternative route.

2. From Khajoori to Karawal Nagar

Traffic movement is closed from Khajoori to Karawal Nagar (both carriageways) due to protests/demonstrations. Motorists heading towards Ankur Vihar are requested to take Sonia Vihar Pusta as an alternative route.

3. Road number 224 Dwarka from Sector 7/9 crossing towards Sector 9/10

Traffic movement will remain closed on Road number 224 Dwarka from sector 7/9 crossing towards sector 9/10 crossing due to vote counting.

4. From sector 6/7 crossing towards Shakti Chowk Dwarka

The traffic police have imposed restrictions on the traffic movement from sector 6/7 crossing towards Shakti Chowk Dwarka and Rudra cut to T- Point due to counting of postal ballots

5. From Muni Maya Ram Marg to Kasturba Gandhi

Traffic movement is closed from Muni Maya Ram Marg to Kasturba Gandhi polytechnic college Pitampura due to vote counting . Motorists are advised to take alternate route via Netaji Subhash Marg and Shalimar Bagh.

6. From Maharani Bagh to C.V. Raman Marg

Traffic movement is closed from Maharani Bagh to C.V. Raman Marg & Mata Mandir to C.V. Raman Marg (Both Carriageways) due to vote counting . Motorists are advised to take alternate route.

7. From Nand Nagri to Bhopura

Traffic movement is closed from Nand Nagri to Bhopura (Both Carriageways) due to vote counting . Motorists are advised to take alternate route.

As per the exit poll, the Arvind-Kejriwal led AAP is expected to win 47 seats while BJP would win 23 seats and Congress will be dissolved in Delhi Assembly Election Result 2020.
