The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday alleged Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is indulged in corruption.
The saffron party's allegation came after Kejriwal removed Delhi Water Minister Kapil Mishra from his Cabinet.
Soon after his removal, Mishra hinted that he was removed because he had apprised Kejriwal of his intentions to expose the names who were delaying the water tanker scam probe in the Delhi Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari told ANI that the BJP has been saying repeatedly that Delhi AAP government is fully involved in scams.
'By removing Kapil Mishra from the cabinet, they (AAP) proved that the one who will talk about scams will go out,' said Tiwari. The BJP leader said that now it has been proved that Kejriwal himself involved in scams.
'Earlier doubt used to come in mind whether Kejriwal is involved in the scams or not but now it has been proved that Arvind Kejriwal himself is involved in the scams and does not want that someone talks about enquiry in those scams,' said Tiwari.
He added that now it also has been proved that the BJP was right when it talked about the Delhi Jal Board scam or other scams.
Union Sports Minister and BJP leader Vijay Goel also alleged that Kejriwal is directly or indirectly involved in corruption.
'The AAP came into power in Delhi on the plank of development and fighting against corruption, but AAP's members themselves have been indulged in corruption. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is directly or indirectly linked with the corruption that is why he has taken action against Kapil Mishra,' Goel told ANI.
He said that last year when Kapil Mishra had said that he would constitute a fact-finding committee on water tanker scam then also he had expressed apprehension of being removed from the Delhi Cabinet.
Goel said when one after another corruption cases are being unearthed in Delhi then what would happen to Delhi's development.
