A faction of Congress party workers demonstrated against their own interim president Sonia Gandhi outside her residence in opposition to ticket distribution for upcoming Delhi assembly polls.
The demonstrators, from Patel Nagar and Karawal Nagar assembly constituencies, raised slogans before the party’s declaration of candidates.
The group was disconcerted over speculations that Arvind Singh and Harman Singh might not get tickets from Karawal Nagar and Patel Nagar, respectively.
The protestors also bunged up the way for Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) president Subhash Chopra's vehicle.
