The total number of coronavirus cases in India has mounted to 2,547 and there have been 62 deaths, according to the Health Ministry.
Almost 9,000 people who took part in the Tablighi Jamaat congregation in Delhi between 10th March and 15th, have been traced across India, validated Punya Salila Srivastava, home ministry spokesperson, in a press conference on Thursday. From the total number of people traced thus far, 1306 are foreigners and the remainder are Indian citizens.
In Delhi, from all the 2,138 individuals moved out from the Markaz, 250 are foreigners. Health workers have sent 1,804 individuals to various isolation centres in and outside the national capital, and 334 symptomatic individuals have been admitted to a hospital for treatment.
