As the 2019 Lok Sabha election is less than two weeks away, the Congress party is set to announce its manifesto and Bhalchandra Mungekar has claimed that the ‘party will initiate an inquiry into Rafale deal.’
News agency ANI tweeted, sharing the information, “Bhalchandra Mungekar, member of Congress party's manifesto committee: When we will come to power, on the first day we will initiate an inquiry into Rafale deal and we have included this in the manifesto.”

The Congress party had decided to release its manifesto on April 2 for the General Elections and it will be released by party president Rahul Gandhi and other top functionaries of the grand old party, including former PM Manmohan Singh at the headquarter at Akbar Road’s residence.
In a hint by Rahul Gandhi over his Twitter, the Gandhi scion said, “Real smart cities are built by good leaders. To improve quality of life in our cities we will move to directly elected Mayors with 5 yr terms & elected councils. Administration will be run by multidisciplinary teams of specialists & experts accountable to the Mayor & council.”
Adding on to his promises, Gandhi further said that “Today, there are 22 Lakh job vacancies in Government. We will have these vacancies filled by 31st March, 2020.”
