India’s biggest coffee chain founder VG Siddhartha who had gone missing for the last two days, his body was recovered on Wednesday morning from the banks of Netravati river after 36 hours of search operations.

As per the reports of CNN-News18, the body of CCD founder was recovered 5 kilometers from Ullal, where Siddhartha was reportedly last seen. Personnel of NDRF, Coast Guard, Home Guard, fire services and coastal police started the operation on Tuesday after his missing report was lodged.
According to the Mangaluru Police, the body will now be taken to Wenlock Hospital, where the family members of VG Siddhartha will be formally asked to identify the body. After then, the post-mortem of the body will also be carried out.

As per the reports, the 60-year-old son-in-law of former Karnataka CM and BJP leader SM Krishna was last seen near the bridge in the Kotepura area in Dakshina Kannada district on Monday evening.
Before leaving his home, Siddhartha had told his family members that he was going to Sakleshpur in a car on Monday afternoon, but, on the way, he asked his car driver to go towards the towards Mangaluru and stopped the car driver at Netravati bridge.
