Cauvery water dispute seems to trouble for the Modi government these days. It proves when opposition parties led by the DMK held a black flag protest against the visit of PM Narendra Modi to the city.
The Cauvery water dispute also gets the support of the Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) president, Kamal Haasan. The actor took to Twitter and posted a video on his social media account. Kamal captioned the video, ‘To my Honourable Prime Minister #KamalAppealToPM @narendramodi @PMOIndia’
In the video, Kamal has appealed to PM Modi to do the justice to the people of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka over the Cauvery issue.
He also said that ‘I think with your experience with Narmada Control Authority, you could easily deliver the justice that TN is seeking for.’

After posting the video, MNM chief also shared an open letter and said that ‘in case if I missed any points with my anxiety to pass in the tumultuous mood of Tamil Nadu in getting water for Tamil Nadu and their farmers. Thank you, sir, I’m sure you will do the needful and you must”.
