The Indian Railway has canceled as many as 339 trains on Saturday due to the ongoing unrest across the country over the newly-enacted Citizenship Amendment Act. The canceled trains include many mails, express trains as well as some special trains. The Railways have decided to refund the Passengers of the canceled trains.
The list of trains canceled by the Railways has been put on the website National Train Inquiry System.
Passengers can also check the list by logging into the Railways' official website. Moreover, the Passengers are being informed through frequent announcements at the stations.
The passengers can also know the status of the trains through SMS on 139 free services.

Earlier, the Eastern Railway had canceled 19 trains on December 17.
Protests intensified across the country after several students were left injured after a protest against the new citizenship law turned violent in Delhi's Jamia Millia Islamia university area on Sunday. Due to the protests, many trains have been canceled. Most passenger trains have been canceled.
The Act seeks to grant Indian citizenship to refugees from Hindu, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist and Parsi communities fleeing religious persecution from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh, and who entered India on or before December 31, 2014.
