Amid violent protest against CAA in Delhi, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed tomorrow’s board examination for Class 10th, 12th in North-Eastern part of the capital.
The board has released an official notification on its website about the cancellation of the examination.
To ensure the safety of students, CBSE has taken this decision to postpone the examination for the area. The exam has been cancelled for 86 schools in North-Eastern part of Delhi. This notice is not applicable for other parts of the country.
Class 10 exams have been postponed in the subjects of English Communicative, and English Language and Literature. For Class 12, the subjects are Web Application (Old), Web Application (New), and Media.
Parents are advised to check the official notification released by CBSE. On the basis of the request of Directorate of Education, Govt of Delhi, CBSE has decided to postpone the examination scheduled on 26th February 2020.

The new schedule for the exam will be notified shortly.
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also said that schools will remain closed tomorrow also in violence-affected North East district. "All home examinations have been postponed. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has been requested to postpone tomorrow's board exams," Sisodia said.
The protest once again erupted in Delhi on Monday in North Eastern parts of Delhi, at least 13 people killed in the attack, including head constable.
