Ahead of the announcement of the Budget in the parliament, the BJP government has confused the nation over their stance of a presenting an ‘interim budget’ or a ‘full budget.’
In an all party meeting held yesterday, the Finance Minister Piyush Goyal has said that a “Budget is a Budget,” and has led to a confusion over the account of presenting an interim or a full time budget. The controversy which has erupted all over the Opposition is that a government, which is demitting its office cannot present a full time budget ahead of the General Elections.
The leader of the opposition Mallikarjun Kharge has said in the meeting that he won’t buy the argument of the BJP and the sources told the Indian Express that Kharge instantly announced, “If it is a full-fledged Budget, we will oppose it.”

Mallikarjun Kharge has also said that he will be questioning the government’s stance over for allegedly not releasing the employment data compiled by the NSSO (National Sample Survey Organisation) under the charimanship of National Statistical Commission.
Even the Ram Mandir issue will again reverberate in the Parliament as the Left parties will oppose the government’s move of filing a petition in the Supreme Court to release the 67 acres of undisputed land to their original owners. Although, Congress would again fight to find a mid way and play a damage control game.
The Budget of 2019 is an anticipated one as many political sops are expected by the ruling BJP for the lower class and the middle class, who voted BJP to power in 2014.
