The bizarre incident came to light when the victim woman wrote a letter to Tata Group chairman N Chandrasekaran recalling her distressing experience on the flight and the Times of India reported the news.
In her letter, the woman said that she complained about the incident to the cabin crew but the man walked scot-free after the flight landed in Delhi. According to the female passenger, the flight crew was not proactive in managing the situation.
The incident took place on board AI-102 after lunch was served to the passengers and the lights turned off. The male passenger, in an inebriated condition, walked to the woman’s seat, unzipped his pants, and urinated.
As per the complaint, after urinating, the man stood there and continued to expose his private parts. He moved after other passengers asked him to go back to his seat. The woman's clothes, shoes, and the bag got soaked in urine. The crew offered her a fresh pair of clothes and covered the pee-stained seat.
