Bengaluru: Student stabbed multiple times during college fest, dies

A 22-year-old engineering student was stabbed to death on the premises of Reva University in Bengaluru on the night of April 28, following a brutal fight between two groups of students during the annual college fest.

The deceased has been identified as Bhaskar Jetty, a fourth-year mechanical student from Gujarat.

The incident occurred around 9 pm, and the police were informed immediately. Bhaskar sustained multiple stab wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Police have sent the body for the autopsy and waiting for the report.

A case of murder has been registered in Bagalur Police Station and probe is on to identify the accused.
