On the death of the three-time Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Pakistan's PM-designate Imran Khan mourns and paid his condolence, who died on Thursday in AIIMS after suffering from prolonged illness. Remembering Bhishma Pitamah of Indian Politics, Khan said Vajpayee was the tallest leader of the subcontinent who will also know for his efforts to improve India and Pakistan's relationship.
"Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a tall political personality of the subcontinent. His attempts for the betterment of India-Pak relationship will always be remembered. Mr Vajpayee, as a foreign minister, took responsibility of improving India-Pak ties," said Pakistan PM-designate Imran Khan as reported by ANI.

Not only Pakistan's Imran Khan but condolences also came from Islamabad. In a press release, a spokesperson said: "We have learnt with sadness the passing away of Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India, who was undergoing treatment in a hospital in New Delhi."
"Mr Vajpayee was a renowned statesman who contributed to bringing a change in India-Pakistan relations and remained a key supporter of SAARC and regional cooperation for development. The Government and people of Pakistan extend their heartfelt condolences to his family and to the Government and people of India," added the press release.
93-year-old Atal Ji was admitted to the AIIMS of 11 June following kidney tract infection, urinary tract infection and low urine output, died on Thursday evening at 5:05 pm. His death was confirmed by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
Mr Vajpayee was kept on life support since last two days in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Atal Ji was a diabetic patient and had only one kidney functional. After the stroke that hit him in the year 2009, his cognitive abilities have also weakened. Later, he also developed dementia.
