The battleground is ready and the election results have now started to come out and now, with the stature of PM Narendra Modi at stake and the Congress party at the verge of being relevant, its the contest which will make or break the parties.
In the run up to the election, the results of the state assemblies will determine the future course of the politics in India and hereby, the future alliances will be made thereafter.
The voter turnout of different states have shown that the anti-incumbency was at the height in these elections and the people had already decided to root out the BJP governments in the Hindi heartland.
Now, its the Modi wave which is getting vaporized and the comeback of Rahul Gandhi in a new avtaar as the president of the Congress party has favored the grand old party and the people are giving thumbs up to them.
The Hindi heartland is giving a negative report card to the BJP and the Congress will make a comeback in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and a tough fight is being seen in Madhya Pradesh.
PM Modi has called for an emergency executive meeting of its core members in Delhi and it will be seen later in the day, how the trends are footed after the final numbers get in.
But, its the Amit Shah’s school of election management which is failing on the ground and the tactics of Panna Pramukhs and polarization might have not been able to root in the states this time.
